Conscious Conception ~ Orgasmic Birth

While attending the recent Daka/Dakini Conference in Sedona, I watched a film called Birth As We Know It. The film discusses conscious conception and follows several women as they give birth to their babies in water. I was struck most of all by the woman who was in a full-on orgasmic state with tears running down her face as she birthed her baby.
I have continued to ponder this concept of conception and birth in my own life. I have never given birth to a child, nor will I in this life, but I have at times felt I was giving birth to something. Right now is one of those amazing times, having consciously conceived the woman that I am now and orgasmically birthed myself as a healer. Part of the labor process has been the creation of my new website, a series of Maui workshops, and this newsletter to introduce my new baby!
